Northmark School of Design

Northmark School of Design is situated in Manchester, England. The school has six departments: Product Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, Experience Design, Moving Image, and Graphic Design. The logomark is an eye with the North Star in place of the iris. The eye represents the ability to see, experience, and grasp our surroundings. It is also a symbol of spirituality, truth, and wisdom.

The North Star symbolizes guidance and direction, and it has long been used for navigation. In this way, the school acts as a North Star for design education. As for the logotype, the font Boldonse was used, as it resembles metal signage and evokes the industrial character of Manchester. This font has both personality and strength.
